Eden Revisited- Paradise Shattered

Eden Revisited: Paradise Shattered
The years had passed for the Genesis Family. And all was perfect.

Wysteria and Orianth had grown up, and become very close. They would play for hours in the Garden. With each other.....

and with Lilith and Micha-El.

The Garden was filled with love, laughter, and companionship.

God watched from above. He was very happy for the young Faerykins. But a shadow crossed his features as a troubled thought, unbidden, entered His consciousness.

They were so happy together, caring for the Garden. Caring for each other, and it showed in all their actions. They would dance and sing, and admire all that they had.

One day while the younglings were elsewhere playing....Lilith and Micha-El spent some time in the Healing waters. Just being together....

when they noticed the strangest thing. It was such an unusual thing...but because they were surrounded by all of God's miracles...they didn't think twice about it.

Wysteria was a bit of a minx. She would use her magick to cause the fountain to foam up.....

and then pretend innocence when Orianth did the same thing.

Lilith and Micha-El were both amused and upset that the two younglings would do this.

And spoke to them about the misuse of their abilities. They were a gift, and not to be squandered in such a way. Poor Orianth always seemed to be the one to get caught, and always paid the price of their actions.

But Lilith and Micha-El, loving Wysteria and Orianth, quickly forgave them and let it go with just a stern warning.

That night Lilith felt a strange feeling. One she had never felt before. An unnamed foreboding of an intenseness that she couldn't shake. It caused her much discomfort and she didn't know why.

Orianth just couldn't seem to resist using his abilities. He went back to the fountain and caused it to foam once again. This was really awesome and he couldn't get enough of doing it. That and he was hoping he could finally get even with his sister.

That night, after a long day of playing with Orianth, a wave of exhaustion enveloped Wysteria. And she laid down, and slept. She dreamed, and the dream terrified her. The dream left her disoriented and apprehensive. And though she tried hard....she could not remember what it was. But the bad feeling would not leave her.

So she sought out her mother and tried to tell her about it. Which only deepened the foreboding feeling that Lilith was experiencing. And there was that unusual anomaly again. And this time Lilith did not dismiss it. But there was no release of the overshadowing sense of doom.

The dream had left Wysteria so exhausted that she fell asleep the next day. In the same spot...never realizing that she was unconsciously repeating her actions.

And while she slept.......paradise was shattered.

When Wysteria awoke...she remembered the dream in all of it's awful detail. Two fiery objects were falling from the sky.....and Orianth and Micha-El were no more. And she knew......it was not a dream....

Wysteria knew deep within that this had happened and she cried bitterly. For if she had been able to remember the dream, maybe she could have prevented this terrible thing from happening.

That night after Wysteria had cried herself to sleep, Lilith screamed at God in rage, and frustation. She didn't mean to be disrespectful...but she was filled with a pain that threatened to tear her soul in two. And for the first time....her faith and trust in God was shaken.

Lilith and Wysteria laid the remains of their family to rest in their favorite place in the Garden. And mourned their loss deeply. And Satan looked on with glee, laughing to himself at their despair.

And as Lilith and Wysteria held onto each other......God shed a tear for the two who had passed. And the Earth flooded. And the Angels who had tried so hard to please God, protected the Garden from destruction. And a plan was formed.....

In Memory of Micha-El and Orianth Genesis. Taken before their time....I pray the Angels comfort them, and carry them above. Easing all their burdens, filling them with love. Author's note: I just have to say thanks once again to all of the custom content creators. We all know why.

FYI: That is a flying skunk. It was born of a glitch in my game, and just wouldn't go away. No matter what I did. So I kind of had to include it as a portent of doom. What the heck. I had also intended for this story to go on, and maybe someday it shall. As soon as my pc can handle the game again.

Eden Revisited-Birth of a Nation

Eden Revisited: Birth of a Nation

Here we are again with the Genesis family. We had left them to have a little privacy. And sure enough....

Nature prevailed. Many times. Repeatedly.

It wasn't long before Lilith found herself becoming overwhelmed by exhaustion, and sleeping through most of the days. This left Micha-El alone and caring for the Garden by himself.

One morning, Lilith found herself running for the bushes. And she began wondering.....was there a little one on the way?

God watched over her to make sure all was well, and progressing as it should. He was pleased that there would be more Faerykin to take care of His Garden later on.

Meanwhile, Lilith sat in the healing waters, and thought about all of the changes taking place within her body. She was tired all of the time, her hair had grown longer, very quickly. And her wings had begun to develop and show color. She didn't like feeling sick all the time either.

When Micha-El joined her, she nestled her body into his, and drew comfort from his nearness. They sat there together for a time, and she wondered what to say to him. Surely he had noticed these changes.

Finally, she pulled away, and began to speak of the changes that were taking place within her, that had been taking place since they had joined together and become one.

And then Lilith told him of her belief that a new life was growing inside of her. Micha-El seemed relieved by this news. He had become very worried about her, since she had been sleeping all the time, and not spending time with, or talking to him like before.

One night, not long after their discussion, a strange feeling came over Lilith. She tried to call out for Micha-El, but everything began spinning, and growing dark. Her knees weakened and gave way......

Micha-El found her a little while later. She was lying on the ground, very pale, still and lifeless. He immediately scooped her up in his arms and carried her off to their bed. He lay beside her all night, worrying and watching over her.....

until she awoke. Her waist had thickened, and she was feeling the babe moving within her for the very first time.

Micha-El told her how he had found her on the ground, and was telling her how worried he had been, when she interrupted him.......

taking his hands, she gently placed them against her belly so he could share this with her. The look of wonder that came over his face, made all of the discomfort and illness fade away.

The days seemed to fly by after that. And Lilith was no longer troubled by her expectancy. The two of them spent time together...

and enjoyed the anticipation of the new life to come.

One morning while gathering some food from the Garden, a sudden sharp twinge ripped through Lilith's body. She doubled over holding her belly while all Micha-El could do was watch. He once again took her to their bed, and helped her deliver the youngling. It was hours before the babe arrived......

Lilith handed Micha-El his newborn daughter.....and he named her Wysteria. But he did not have much time to admire her, for suddenly Lilith was clutching her belly again.....

and soon.....little Orianth was born. An exhausted Lilith holding her son, and a very proud and happy Micha-El holding his daughter.

And even though it was very difficult to tend the Garden and nourish these two demanding young Faerykin...they found that their love for each other grew and enveloped Wysteria and Orianth.

Life was good in the Garden.

and when Wysteria and Orianth slept......Lilith and Micha-El would sneak off to their special place......

but no matter how much they tried....Lilith never conceived again.

God came back to the Garden to see the Faerykin younglings, and when Lilith mentioned the problem and that they wanted more babies....God told Lilith not to worry about it and to just enjoy her family to the fullest, and to pass on His teachings to Wysteria and Orianth.

As the years passed, Wysteria and Orianth grew into toddlers. They were very bright and precocious. Lilith taught them to appreciate and respect everything that God had made for them...for one day..They would be the Keepers of the Garden.

Wysteria loved the trees and plants......

while Orianth grew an affinity for the animals. Truly the Garden would be well cared for by the next generation.

Author's note:

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I once again would like to thank all those wonderful custom content creators. For without their hard work, these stories could not be illustrated.

About Me

My photo
Hi! My name is Melissa. And I am a Domestic Dictator. I rule my household with determination and sheer grit. And if you believe that, then I've got a bridge to sell you. Somewhere. And if you give me enough time, I'll figure out where. If I had to really describe myself, then I am at a loss for words. But I shall try. I would say I am a very creative person, with a sometimes big mouth, and a quick, and weird sense of humor. I like to write. I have written poetry, and stories. Some of these stories are based on the Sims2 Game.
